I'd love to play for Bayern Munich, says Ibrahimovic

Paris Saint-Germain forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic has revealed that he would relish the chance to play for Bayern Munich before he retires.

The outspoken Swede has been touted for a return to AC Milan this summer, with president Silvio Berlusconi admitting that he still wants to sign the striker despite the arrivals of Luiz Adriano and Carlos Bacca.

Ibrahimovic, however, hints that he might prefer to try another league before he retires, with Bayern an attractive proposition as an elite team.

"It's certainly a league that fascinates me. Maybe one day I could play there, I still have time," the 33-year-old told 11Freunde.

"If I went to Germany, I'd have to play for Bayern. They're one of the five best teams in the world."

Any prospective deal to take Ibrahimovic to the Allianz Arena would be complicated by Pep Guardiola's position as coach, however, given the turbulent relationship between the duo during their time at Barcelona

Casillas close to Porto switch but yet to agree payoff with Real Madrid

Casillas close to Porto switch but yet to agree payoff with Real Madrid

The 34-year-old is keen on a move to Portugal but wants the Spanish club to pay the difference between his current salary and the offer from Porto

Iker Casillas is closing in on a move to Porto but Real Madrid's willingness to make a financial sacrifice will determine whether the transfer is completed.

Porto have offered Casillas a two-year contract, with an option for an additional third season, worth €2.5 million (£1.7m) per annum and the Spain international is keen on making the move.

However, the 34-year-old currently earns €7m (£4.9m) a year in the Spanish capital and still has two more years running on his existing deal.

Casillas wants Madrid to pay the difference between Porto's offer and his current salary, which would cost the Spanish side an estimated €15m (£10.6m) before taxes.

Madrid executives have vowed to do everything within their power to help Casillas in his search for a new club as they are intent on signing David De Gea, who told Manchester United in June that he wants to move to the Spanish capital this summer.

Madrid are reluctant to settle for a €15m (£10.6m) exit payment and are hoping to negotiate a deal for a significantly lower fee with Casillas' agent Carlo Cutropia.

"Casillas is pretty excited about the opportunity to join Porto," Cutropia told Record on Monday.  "We hope Real Madrid will allow him to move on and give him an easy exit."
